For at least the third time in a year a neighborhood vandal has cut down several trees near Bingham Lake in the High Prairie Farms at the Lake subdivision. The destruction and resulting mess is an insult to the neighborhood. Someone has taken it upon themselves to cut down trees in the open space without permission. Please report anything you may have seen to the DC Sheriff’s Department or the Metro District (HPFMD.org). Hopefully someone has seen this occurring and can provide information on the person so it can be stopped. Destruction of property and trespass is a crime with fines up to $10,000.
